Welcome to the 2022 Osteoporosis Essentials Course, Ireland.

This year's course will be provided by a distinguished faculty recognised nationally and internationally for their expertise in Osteoporosis, DXA and Densitometry. 

The course will provide up to date information on the epidemiology and burden of illness related to osteoporosis in Ireland, DXA testing in Ireland, national and international standard and positions, recent developments in DXA technology, and current legislation for the performance and provision of DXA services in Ireland.

The course will be held in The Connacht Hotel, Galway, Ireland.

Given the current situation with COVID-19, a virtual-online option will also be available. 

Please note that in-person tickets are limited to 60, and once they are sold there will only be an option to attend online.

Unfortunately, the ISCD-certification examination is not available following the course, but we do hope to run an in-person examination later in the year once COVID restrictions have eased.
