Information for Local Organizing Committees

This new IOF and ISCD joint course is available to audiences worldwide. The Course covers the latest knowledge on densitometry, diagnosis and management of osteoporosis, with separate tracks for Clinicians and Technologists. Participants may opt to take a post-course exam in order to attain an Attestation of Achievement.
  • Courses are hosted by Local Organizing Committees (LOCs), using the core Osteoporosis Essentials Course material. LOCs are responsible for selecting Faculty.
  • Course material may be translated and/or add to, in order to improve local applicability.  
  • LOCs are charged a fee of 500 USD (non-profit rate),  5000 USD (for IOF/ISCD Corporate members) or 12000 USD (for-profit/governmental agency rate) for each course held. There is a discount for additional courses in the same calendar year.


Together, IOF and ISCD have created a comprehensive training course which provides valuable new knowledge about osteoporosis diagnosis and management for clinicians
and allied health professionals worldwide.
